ORCHARD DRINKS - YARDE CIDER

 

THE BRIEF

Orchard Drinks is an award winning Devon based cider and sparkling wine maker. Their owner and MD reached out to me as they needed a one off custom design for one of their Yarde ciders which they were going to be taking to a cider festival in their not too distant future. 

 

With a very short turn around, and a slightly ambiguous brief; the logo essential needed to have a ‘Smokey Autumn’ feel to match its name, we were happy take up the challenge and embrace the fun, who doesn’t love festival season!

 

THE SOLUTION

We presented two options, one of which was refined down to what you see here, incorporating the autumnal colours and smoked element.

 

The beauty of this design is that should they decide to go on to mass produce this to be sold along with their other offerings in farm shops, and artisan delicatessens, with small tweaks it can easily be transferred to packaging as demonstrated by the mockups.
